The Boxborough Energy Committee started with a few neighborhood people who wanted to address local energy and environmental issues. We formed a grass-roots group called Boxborough EcoPath to serve as a link among neighbors and friends who want to become more energy-efficient, save money, conserve resources, and talk about local environmental concerns.

In 2008, Boxborough’s Board of Selectmen asked EcoPath to serve as the town’s Ad Hoc Energy Committee, and in 2009 the Selectmen formed a permanent Energy Committee. Our meetings are open to the public, and all interested citizens are welcome to participate without becoming a member. Our charter and the minutes from past meetings can be found on the Energy Committee page of the Town of Boxborough’s website.
